DevOps Engineer for Insurance Software
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

About the project
We have been developing reliable software for insurance companies in Slovakia for more than 15 years. We are a stable team of 30 members.
What you will do
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing CI/CD pipelines (build, test, release) to ensure smooth delivery
- Help manage projects and releases within Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards), ensuring tasks are tracked and artifacts are stored correctly
- Support the preparation and basic maintenance of dev / test / stage / prod environments for .NET applications running on Windows / IIS
- Assist in creating and updating Docker files and supporting containerized applications under the guidance of senior engineers
- Write and maintain basic scripts (PowerShell, Python) to automate routine infrastructure tasks and data gathering
- Update and troubleshoot Jenkins Groovy scripts and shared libraries used for automation
- Monitor production systems, perform initial troubleshooting of infrastructure issues, and escalate complex problems when necessary
- Document infrastructure setups and participate in PoC (Proof of Concept) testing for new tools and technologies
What we expect
- 0–3 years of experience in IT (can include internships, school projects, or Junior SysAdmin / Support roles)
- Basic understanding of what CI/CD is and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Basic awareness of how .NET applications are built, configured, and deployed
- Familiarity with Windows Server and IIS (basic configuration and hosting)
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL (ability to run queries and understand deployment scripts)
- Junior-level scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Windows batch / DOS
