Business Analyst for Insurance Software

Salary: from 2,800 EUR (based on skills and experience)
About the project
We have been developing reliable software for insurance companies in Slovakia for more than 15 years. We are a stable team of 30 members.
About the role
As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a project team delivering software solutions for the insurance industry. You will act as a key link between customers and internal implementation teams, translating business needs into clear requirements and effective solutions. Working closely with business and technical analysts, developers and testers, you will help ensure that the delivered solution meets customer expectations and supports their business goals.
What you will do
- Understanding of business processes and organizational goals
- Processing of internal and external product enquiries
- Identifying product optimisations in relation to customer requirements
- Coordination between implementation teams and customers in relation to their needs
- Active participation in customer meetings as a product expert
- Coordinate the customisation of product
- Close collaboration with various internal stakeholders such as business and technical analysts, development managers and testers
- Verify that implementation meets the customers requirements
What we expect
- A university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role, such as Business Analyst or Product Specialist, preferably within the insurance or broader financial services sector
- Solution oriented personality and is a team player
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SQL, Agile project management and/or Jira
- Familiarity with software development methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of relevant software tools and technologies
