About the project

We have been developing reliable software for insurance companies in Slovakia for more than 15 years. We are a stable company of around 60 people. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist who will take ownership of how we find, attract, and care for our people — from the first LinkedIn message to a signed contract and a smooth onboarding.

What you will do

  • Maintain and update open positions on the company website, LinkedIn, career portals, and in newsletters
  • Source and contact candidates on social networks and job portals to build a long-term pipeline of IT talent
  • Conduct first-round (screening) interviews and coordinate next steps with hiring managers
  • Send job offers to candidates and prepare documentation for employment contracts (in cooperation with management)
  • Track and manage the onboarding of new hires (process managed in Jira)
  • Plan and organize internal expert lectures, training, and company events (including team buildings and company parties)
  • Represent the company at career events and job fairs, including event registration and preparation
  • Conduct regular one-on-one conversations with employees, gather feedback, and flag potential team issues early

What we expect

  • 3+ years of experience in IT recruiting or a combined HR / recruiting role
  • Hands-on experience with active sourcing (e.g. LinkedIn) and interviewing
  • Experience organizing internal events, training, or lectures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable leading sensitive conversations with employees at all levels
  • Slovak (native / fluent) and English (min. B2)
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage several parallel activities independently

Tools You'll Use

  • LinkedIn (Recruiter / Company Page)
  • Jira (onboarding process)
  • MS Office
  • Canva (or similar) for employer branding content

Personality

  • Empathetic and genuinely interested in people
  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information
  • Organized self-starter who follows through on initiatives
  • Comfortable balancing recruiting targets with a people-first approach

Professional Growth Opportunities

  • You will own recruiting and people care end to end, with direct visibility to management
  • Room to grow toward an HR Business Partner role as the company and team expand
